Activated Carbon Air Filters
Activated carbon air filters are designed to improve indoor air quality by capturing gases, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), odors, and smoke through a process known as adsorption.
These filters are typically made of activated carbon, which is processed into a form with small, low-volume pores for enhanced efficiency. These pores increase the surface area available for adsorption or chemical reactions, making the filter highly effective at trapping contaminants that pass through it.
Activated Carbon air filters feature a pleated media design, offering a larger surface area for enhanced adsorption. They're an effective solution for improving indoor air quality in a variety of settings.
Activated Carbon air filter Features:
· Grade: G3, G4; MERV5, MERV6, MERV7, MERV8
· Frame material: Cardboard, ABS plastic, galvanized/stainless steel, or aluminum alloy
· High Adsorption Capacity: its porous structure offers large surface area, ideal for adsorbing odorous substances and gaseous pollutants
· Odor and Gas Removal: removing organic odors, smoke, and chemical vapors
· Can be used in standalone filters, integrated into HVAC systems, or combined with other types of filters like HEPA for broader air purification
· Customizable filter sizes and specifications for special requirements
Activated Carbon air filter Applications:
· Residential and Commercial Buildings: removing odors, smoke, and VOCs in homes, offices, and other indoor spaces
· Industrial Settings: controlling odors and emissions of organic compounds.
· HVAC Systems: Integrated into HVAC systems for comprehensive building air treatment
